Used Uniform Shop
Open Tuesday & Thursday 3pm - 4.30pm
The Used Uniform shop is provided to allow the School community the chance to purchase articles of School clothing at an economical price.
The Used Uniform shop is run by volunteer Mission Guild members, and all of the money is donated to Anglicare Charities i.e. Magdalene Centre, Anglicare South and North etc. It is one of Mission Guild’s major fundraisers and the money is greatly appreciated by those less fortunate than us.
We have undergone some changes that we hope will make it easier for our customers as well as the volunteer workers. There has been a big clear out of all our old stock including clothing that will no longer be part of the revised School uniform. The garments that are allowed in the sunset period have been heavily reduced. The front of the racks will be marked with the prices and as all garments will be of similar condition they will be priced the same. (for example all shirts one price)
We will now be cash only in the hope of alleviating the extra bookwork that has been involved with School accounts etc. and the no ‘hold’ or ‘refund’ policy will remain.
If you are dropping off clothes for donation or on consignment, please ensure they are cleaned and ironed and most importantly of a good standard (no stains, tears or buttons missing) it is preferable for the blazers to be dry cleaned, to help lessen the work load on the volunteers.
We apologise for any inconvenience that may arise from the above mentioned and we are happy to help where possible. It is not only a great service to the St Peter’s School community but we are also helping those in need.
