On Wednesday 11 October, the Year 12 English as an Additional Language and English B class had a celebration dinner at the Maid Hotel. The boys enjoyed a range of Australian-themed meals and had an enjoyable time, celebrating the end of their academic year.
More recently, on Tuesday 31 October, the Year 11 English as an Additional Language and English B class had an excursion to visit the Art Gallery of South Australia. The boys began the afternoon with a celebration lunch to acknowledge their efforts throughout the year, and enjoyed food from a modern Australian menu.
Afterwards, the boys explored the Art Gallery with the challenge of finding artwork that they considered controversial, as part of their current unit on Controversial Art. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. I would like to thank Ms Rachel Spiby for her support on this excursion.
