At the beginning of each school year, our House Welcome Chapel Services provide a meaningful opportunity for students, families and staff to come together as House communities. Building on the success of last year, these services will once again bring together students from Years 7 to 12, along with their parents, guardians and House staff, to mark the commencement of the new academic year.

Each service is held in the historic School Chapel, an occasion that many parents and guardians do not often have the opportunity to experience. The Chapel setting offers a reflective and welcoming start to the year, reinforcing the values of belonging, connection and community that sit at the heart of the House system.

The morning begins with a Chapel Service led by Father Theo McCall, setting a positive and purposeful tone for the year ahead. Following the service, families are invited to enjoy breakfast in the Big Quad, providing time to connect with other parents and guardians and to meet members of the House pastoral care team.

Attendance at House Chapel Services is compulsory for all students in Years 7 to 12, and these events take precedence over co-curricular sport or music commitments. Parents and guardians are warmly encouraged to attend and share in this important milestone at the start of the school year.
