Perfect weather greeted all of the boys and parents for the annual Prep to Year 2 Sports day on Palm House Oval. It was fantastic to see all of our Palm House boys in their House tops competing for their House.
The boys participated in a number of events, which used the skills that they have been working on during their PE lessons. It was great to see so many parents there to support the boys.
We had our Junior School leaders from Year 6, which include our House Captains, as well as our Sports Captain and Junior School Captain and Vice Captain, help to run the day and they did a fantastic job, showing why they have been given the responsibility of leadership this year.
All of the Junior Primary boys are to be congratulated for their efforts throughout the day. They all displayed fantastic sportsmanship in each of the events that they participated in.
I would like to thank Mr Athanasiou and Mrs Adcock for their help in preparing the boys for the event. I would also like to thank the Palm House Staff for their involvement to ensure the day ran smoothly.
I would also like to thank the Ground staff for their efforts in ensuring that Palm House Oval was in pristine condition for the big day.
