Preserving our Chapel

Since the foundation stone was laid in 1861, the magnificent School Chapel has been a central feature of the walls and fields of St Peter’s College. The Chapel provides SPSC’s diverse community with the spiritual and intellectual resources to face life’s challenges with courage, empathy, and love. The Chapel is more than a building; it is a place of human connection, a space of grace, and a refuge in an uncertain world.
Like many structures of historical significance, the Chapel requires ongoing care to preserve its beauty, dignity and purpose. Current priorities include essential restoration and maintenance works, supporting the Chapel’s continued role at the heart of School life for students, families, old scholars and friends of the School.
