Support the Restoration of our Chapel
We invite you to join us in supporting the restoration and maintenance of SPSC’s Chapel. Every tax-deductible gift will make an impact and ensure that ‘one stone remains upon another’ for the next two centuries.
Since the foundation stone was laid in 1861, the magnificent School Chapel has been a central feature of the walls and fields of St Peter’s College. The Chapel provides SPSC’s diverse community with the spiritual and intellectual resources to face life’s challenges with courage, empathy, and love. The Chapel is more than a building; it is a place of human connection, a space of grace, and a refuge in an uncertain world.
However, like many structures of historical significance, it requires ongoing attention and currently we need to invest $300,000 to repair and restore the rear spire, the fleche. This work is essential to ensure the Chapel can continue to fully serve the needs of our School, old scholar community and generations to come.
