A Precinct Growing in Use

The Northern Precinct is part of daily life at St Peter’s College. Its four ovals bring boys, families, staff and Old Scholars together through training, competition and community events. As that use grows, the facilities serving the precinct need to grow with it.

The Northern Pavilion will provide the change rooms and amenities these ovals and playing fields need, alongside welcoming spaces where people can gather before and after sport. It will replace the Michael Brookman Memorial Pavilion on Caterer Oval, honouring a place that has served generations of Saints since 1953.

The Pavilion has a second, equally enduring purpose. Its expanded gathering spaces will provide a home and a visible presence for SPOC, Old Scholars and the Old Scholar clubs that continue to use the Northern Precinct. Football, soccer, athletics, cricket and hockey all bring people back to Saints. The Pavilion will give those connections a place to meet and grow.

The School and SPOC have now agreed on the final design and floor plan. Together, they are working towards a facility that serves the School’s sporting needs and strengthens the place of Old Scholars in the life of the College.

Be part of What Comes Next

SPOC has made a $1 million lead commitment, and we are grateful to the Old Scholars who have already pledged their support. Their generosity has brought the project to this point.

The next phase invites more of our community to take part. Whether you have played on these ovals, supported from the boundary or simply value the connections Saints creates, we would welcome a conversation about how you might help bring the Northern Pavilion to life.
