The VIVA SA All Schools Games is the premier athletics carnival for students aged 12 or older and one of the selection events for the South Australian team for the 2022 Australian Track and Field Championships.
School pride was on the line in 2021 with a newly introduced teams component of the championships. Athletes accumulated team points for their school in selected events across the weekend. Trophies were awarded to the U14 boys, U14 girls, U16 boys, U16 girls, U18 boys, U18 girls, Overall boys and Overall girls divisions.
On 23 October St Peter’s College had 33 athletes compete across 87 events earning a total of 3 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze. The students earned a total of 109 points and won the overall boys division over St Michael’s (57 points) and Trinity College (56 points). Furthermore, the school won the U16 boys division.
