St Peter’s College was honoured to welcome the Rt Hon Dame Jacinda Ardern to the School on Friday as part of the Rex J Lipman Fellows Program.

The Foundation event brought together a distinguished group of donors, supporters and friends of the School for a thoughtful and engaging morning of conversation and reflection. Facilitated by Fiona Dorman, the discussion explored leadership, service and global responsibility through Dame Jacinda’s unique experiences and perspective.

Dame Jacinda spoke with honesty and warmth on a range of topics, from her involvement with Prince William’s Earthshot Prize to her reflections on leadership and the importance of empathy. Her observation that being a “thin-skinned” leader can be a strength resonated strongly with those in attendance.Established through the visionary bequest of Dr Rex J Lipman AO ED OLH ONM (SHT 1937), the Rex J Lipman Fellows Program continues to bring internationally respected leaders and thinkers to St Peter’s College, enriching the School community through meaningful exchange and new perspectives.

The occasion also reflected the important role philanthropy continues to play at St Peter’s College. Through participation, service and financial support the generosity of the wider community helps sustain and strengthen the School for future generations.
