2024 has been a remarkable year of compassion, community, and generosity for Mission Guild. Under the leadership of Kirsty Whiteman, and with the unwavering support of a dedicated committee and hardworking volunteers, Mission Guild is proud to be donating nearly $80,000 to Anglican charities.
This incredible achievement reflects the collective efforts of our school community, who have come together through initiatives such as the Recycled Uniform Shop, High Tea, Movie Night, and more to support those in need. A standout contribution came from our Year 9 ‘Introduction to Pottery’ class. These talented students earned prize money from art exhibitions throughout the year and chose to donate their winnings to Mission Guild, demonstrating true selflessness and a commitment to helping others.
These donations are being distributed to Anglicare SA – ‘Turning Point’ Program and Suicide Prevention Program – and St John’s Youth Services. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the dedicated volunteers whose tireless efforts make Mission Guild’s work possible. Together, we have made a meaningful difference in 2024, and we eagerly look forward to continuing this journey of kindness in 2025.
