The ABODA SA Band and Orchestra Festival offers school ensembles the opportunity to perform, compete, and share their music with a wider audience. This year, a number of our ensembles represented St Peter’s College with distinction, achieving exceptional results across both the Junior and Senior Schools.
Junior School
- Junior Strings Section – Junior School String Orchestra: Gold Award and Overall Section Winner (4th year in a row)
- Junior Concert Band Section – Junior School Concert Band: Gold Award and Overall Section Winner (2nd year in a row)
- Novice Concert Band Section – Preparatory Concert Band: Gold Award and Overall Section Winner (2nd year in a row)
Senior School
- Tuned Percussion Ensemble Section – Middle Percussion Ensemble: Gold Award and Overall Section Winner; Senior Percussion Ensemble: Gold Award
- Intermediate Strings Section – Hill Wing Strings: Silver Award
- Senior Strings Section – Senior String Orchestra: Silver Award
- Open Orchestra Section – Orchestra: Gold Award
- Intermediate Concert Band Section – Middle Concert Band: Gold Award
- Intermediate Concert Band PLUS Section – Intermediate Concert Band: Silver Award
- Advanced Concert Band Section – Senior Concert Band: Silver Award
We are immensely proud of all our students for their commitment, preparation and musical excellence. These results are a testament to their talent and hard work, as well as the dedication of our music staff.
