This week, we celebrated the outstanding results of the Class of 2024, specifically recognising 19 of our top achievers at our Academic Muster. These students are among the top 1% in the nation, an achievement that speaks to their commitment, focus, effort and hard work.
Beyond the exceptional ATARs, the Class of 2024 made its mark in every aspect of school life – excelling not just in academics but also in music, the arts, sport and service. Their commitment, talent, and drive embodied what it means to be ‘strong and lovely’.
A special mention to our Co-Dux of the School, Lewis Gilbert (S&A 2024) and Alexander Koh (HWK 2024), along with David Taylor (HWD 2024), who was awarded Proxime Accessit.
Success at SPSC is a collective effort, shaped by the dedication of students, staff and families from Junior School through to Senior School. While we celebrate our highest achievers, we also acknowledge the progress of every student. An exceptional median ATAR of 92.35, achieved by a non-selective cohort, speaks to the power of a supportive and ambitious learning community.
Both Lewis and Alex were invited to address our School community at Muster. As Lewis is currently in Hong Kong, he sent a video speech, while Alex spoke in person about the factors he believes contributed to his success. Their speeches can be viewed below:
We’re incredibly proud of last year’s graduates, a summary of their achievements can be found in here: Celebrating the Class of 2024 booklet
