In recent weeks, we have established a strong connection with Adelaide United in a club-school partnership. As part of that growing relationship, on Tuesday 23 August, Adelaide United Captain and Socceroo, Craig Goodwin, visited St Peter’s College to meet the Junior and Senior School soccer boys during their practices. Craig was accompanied by centre-back teammate Nick Ansell and it was a delight to see boys of all ages claim autographs from Craig and Nick and ask a number of questions about professional soccer and their career highlights. Adelaide United are planning a number of training sessions at St Peter’s College later this year, when there will be more opportunities for our boys to meet and greet the players.
