AnglicareSA Christmas Appeal

Every year, SPSC supports the AnglicareSA Christmas Appeal. This year, for the first time, this will be a whole school effort with the ELC, Junior School and Senior School contributing to the cause donating toys/gifts and food items to create hampers. The toys and hampers will be distributed via AnglicareSA to thousands of disadvantaged individuals and families in need this Christmas.

Each food hamper contains:
• Long life milk 1L
• Spread (peanut butter, jam, vegemite) 400g
• Can of fruit 825g
• Can of vegetables (corn, peas, mix) 420g
• Jar of pasta sauce 500g
• Pasta or rice 500g
• Breakfast cereal 375g
• Coffee or tea
• Pkt of sugar 500g
• 1 x San Remo- La Pasta Meal – Family pack 160g
• 1 x Can of Tuna 425g
• Christmas pudding/ cake
• Pkt of sweet biscuits
• Pkt savoury biscuits (Jatz, shapes or rice crackers)
• Chips (crisps, pretzels, nuts)
• Bag of lollies

Toys/gifts needed (please don’t wrap)
• Footballs, basketballs or soccer balls
• Tennis and cricket sets
• Lego for both boys and girls
• Cars, planes, trains
• Construction sets
• Board games, jigsaws
• Dolls, prams, cradles, tea sets
• Arts and craft sets
• Batteries for children’s toys (AAA, AA, C, D size and 9 volt)
• Books, educational toys
• Back to school kits – pencils, pencil cases, back packs
• Musical instruments
• Remote control toys
• Makeup, nail polish, perfume or aftershave sets

Donations will be accepted from Monday 4 November to Friday 22 November. More information to come. Thank you in advance to everyone in our community for this incredible joint effort in generously donating food or gifts to support South Australians at Christmas time.
