Applications are now open for the Da Costa Open Scholarship. The Da Costa Scholarship is one of the oldest and most prestigious academic scholarships in the School’s history. It is awarded to a student in Year 10 on the basis of academic merit and excellent character. In addition to the honour of holding the Scholarship, it also provides a 50% tuition fee remission for the remaining two years of schooling.
Eligibility information, criteria and application forms were emailed to all Year 10 students on Thursday 20 September 2018. Applications must be submitted by the closing date of Friday 19 October 2018 (Week 1, Term 4) and returned to Mrs Pierina Deck.
The Headmaster, Deputy Headmaster/Head of Senior School and Acting Director of Learning & Teaching Excellence will meet to consider the applicants. The winner of the Da Costa Open Scholarship will be acknowledged at Speech Day in Week 8 of Term 4.
