Congratulations to our athletes who competed at the Australian Track and Field Championships in Sydney last week. Despite challenging weather conditions, the boys did exceptionally well. We congratulate the following athletes on their achievements:
• Jonathan Harris (Year 11) – Gold in the U18 1500m and Bronze in the U18 800m
• Andrew Maenda (Year 10) – Gold in the U16 200m, Gold in the U16 4 x 200m Relay, Silver in the U16 100m and Bronze in the U18 4x100m Relay
• Gman Paye (Year 10) – Silver in the U17 200m, Silver in the U17 400m, Bronze in the U18 4x100m Relay and Bronze in the U18 4 x 400m Relay
• Joshua Moro (Year 10) – Bronze in the U18 4 x 400m Relay and 4th in U17 Long Jump
• Lawson Jones (Year 9) – Gold in the U16 Pole Vault
• James Tolis (Year 8) – 4th in the U14 4 x 100m Relay
And congratulations also to our old scholars on their outstanding results. Aidan Murphy (FRR 2020) won Gold in the 200m Open Final and Adam Goddard (YNG 2021) finished 10th in the U20 1500m event.
