26 September 2025
In Week 7, the Years 4 to 6 French classes celebrated Bastille Day, following our learning in Term 2 about this important date in the French calendar. The Junior School Function Space was decorated in the French flag colours (bleu, blanc and rouge) and the boys came to school dressed in the same colours.
We enjoyed a goûter (snack) of giant croissants and delicious chocolat chaud (hot chocolate). We then played the traditional southern French bowling game, pétanque, as well as a game of bingo with special prizes including 3D-printed croissants, Eiffel Towers and French bulldogs, courtesy of Monsieur Becker (Vive la Révolution technologique!). The boys’ feedback was very positive and we look forward to celebrating again next year!
