The weather was absolutely perfect for the Junior Primary Bastille Day celebrations last term. The boys looked amazing dressed in their blue, white and red as they marched down the Avenues towards the Da Costa Dining Hall.

We celebrated the 230th anniversary of the French National Day in style with delicious warm croissants and hot chocolate. The musical items were performed by the Year 2 Strings group, who were joined by Ryan Nie (Year 1) and Beau Leon (Year 1). The celebrations also included recognising students’ efforts during French lessons.

Certificates and prizes were awarded to some students for their outstanding French show and tell and the Year 2 Pétanque Cup was awarded to 2C.

A big thank you to the Junior School staff who helped with the set up and serving and to Mrs Emily Rogers for her stunning photographs. I would also like to thank Mrs Jasmine Taylor and Mr David Kolpak for their support and for helping with the presentations.
