Last year, Blue Threads was created as a social enterprise reselling second hand clothes to assist in the funding of the School’s respite care programs, such as Buddy Up and Sony Camp.

After a successful Summer House Sports Day stall and Captain’s Cup Challenge, Blue Threads is looking to expand its operations both through its online store and at school events. In the coming weeks the first step towards this expansion will take the form of a clothing drive as a part of the Captain’s Cup competition.

This year, houses will collect male clothing donations from the student body to be listed on eBay. The victorious House will be decided based off of the number of quality clothes collected and sale price of their items. Students are to bring their items of clothing to their House area between Monday Week 7 (11th March) and Friday of Week 8 (22nd March).

The team looks forwards to the contribution of each student to this service initiative, to ensure that the School can continue to provide invaluable care to the most vulnerable members of our community and provide students with meaningful experiences in the form of Service Learning.
