The first weekend of Term 3 saw fifty of our parents travelling up to the Clare Valley for the annual ‘Boarder Parents Weekend’. Friday consisted of ambrose golf and an evening dinner in the town of Clare. Saturday was filled with wine tasting, walking tours, quizzes, and meals at Taylors and Pike wineries.
It was fantastic to have so many parents present and willing to travel long distances to be at the event. Our Boarding staff, Nick Lamont, Rob Green and I really enjoyed attending the weekend. Community is an important part of the boarding experience, and we feel incredibly lucky to have such a supportive, active and welcoming parent body.
Thank you to all the parents who attended and to the masterminds Brooke Stockman and Anna Hawker for not only organising but hosting such a fun weekend.
