As part of their SACE Stage 1 Spiritualities, Religion and Meaning course, Year 11 students will be attending workshops on ethics in the workplace. We are seeking members of the School community to lead 45-minute workshop discussions with a group of students, focusing on:

  • What sort of ethical dilemmas emerge in your profession or workplace?
  • How do you go about resolving those dilemmas? What principles underlie your ethical decision-making?
  • How are professionals in your field trained and resourced to deal with ethical dilemmas?

Each workshop would be delivered twice during the morning. We already have a number of old scholar volunteers, but more presenters would be great – especially in the fields of medicine, law and engineering, which attract a lot of interest from our students.

Ethics Morning will be held from 8.30am to 10.30am on Wednesday 27 August in the Senior School.

If you are interested in presenting, or would like further information, please get in touch with Nicholas Browne, Head of Theology and Philosophy at nbrowne@stpeters.sa.edu.au.
