Year 10 chemistry students recently carried out experiments to consider the actions of catalysts in a chemical reaction. Different types of chemical reactions are used to produce a range of products and can occur at different rates. The students selected and used the appropriate investigative method to analyse patterns and hone their observational skills so that they may glean the underlying principles of the catalytic effect. All this and fun as well! Surely Chemistry is the king of the sciences.
