Last week, St Peter’s College hosted the inaugural Celebrating Generations event, bringing together families with deep and enduring connections to the School. This special occasion provided a meaningful opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the remarkable legacy of those who have come before us.

Nearly 40 current students from 21 sixth and seventh generation families attended, a testament to the strength and longevity of our School community. Their presence highlighted the unique and cherished tradition of families passing down the St Peter’s College experience through the generations.

A highlight of the evening was the acknowledgment of Jennifer Neill, whose meticulous and voluntary research has been instrumental in documenting these rich family histories. Her dedication has helped bring this project to life, ensuring that the stories of our past continue to be preserved for future generations.

Another particularly memorable moment was David Lyons’ toast to the School. His inspiring words paid tribute to the generations of families who have shaped and strengthened our community, providing a fitting reflection on our past while also looking toward the future of St Peter’s College.

We invite you to relive this special evening through our event photo gallery.
