Last week we celebrated the excellent progress made by our students in the Most Improved Effort Grade Ceremony. The occasion recognised those who demonstrated significant growth in their effort grades, reflecting their dedication to learning and their commitment to the School’s values of truth, respect, and service.

Effort grades, recorded every five weeks for each subject, are a valuable measure of a student’s engagement, accountability, cooperation, and willingness to extend themselves. This system not only recognises achievement but also highlights progress, encouraging students to strive towards their personal best.

At the ceremony, certificates were awarded to students who achieved the most improvement in their effort grades. Following this, the boys celebrated together over a morning tea, complete with chocolate muffins. This semester, we are delighted to congratulate the following boys for their outstanding improvement in effort grade:

Well done to all the students recognised at the ceremony. Your growth and commitment are a testament to the importance of perseverance and a positive attitude.

Effort grades remain a valuable tool for encouraging students to reflect on their progress and identify opportunities for continued development. We look forward to seeing further improvement and dedication from all our students in 2025.
