During weeks 4 and 5 the Junior School Music Department hosted the Annual Chamber Recitals for all boys who have individual instrumental lessons in school. The Recitals took place over five different venues on Tuesday 4 November and Monday 10 November and involved around 360 boys.

The Recitals enable the students to gain the valuable experience of performing for a live audience and to showcase their individual skills and progress. At each concert we had a variety of repertoire showcased by students of differing abilities. This included boys in Reception who have only had lessons this Semester, and for many, would be their very first time performing.

Playing or singing a solo piece, with or without an accompanist, takes courage, grit and determination and we are immensely proud of all boys who took to the stage.

We would like to thank our visiting tutors for their work with the boys over 2025, to the boys for performing so well and to our parents for your continued support. Our music program thrives due to the number of boys who have individual lessons and are part of one of our choirs, bands or ensembles.

Every student should be proud of their performance and involvement!
