This year has been an outstanding season for our Chess teams, marked by dedication, growth and exceptional achievement. Our players have shown incredible focus, strategic thinking and enthusiasm throughout the year. Whether competing in our fortnightly matches or refining tactics during weekly training, they have represented St Peter’s College with pride, teamwork and true sportsmanship. Their persistence and collaboration demonstrate exactly what it means to be an exceptional learner.
A special commendation goes to one of our esteemed players, Damon Yuan, who is recognised for his remarkable achievements across both B and C Grade. Damon consistently displayed impressive skill, resilience and a strong competitive spirit. His performance has been a standout feature of this season, and we congratulate him on this well-deserved recognition.
Each player in our Chess program should feel incredibly proud of the effort and commitment they’ve shown, both in practice sessions and during tournaments. Their willingness to learn from each game, support their teammates and challenge themselves has contributed to a truly memorable season.
