Following the success of the Dragonboat Festival Social with Seymour College, the Chinese Society and Seymour College hosted another successful event to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival at Seymour College on Thursday 29 August. Over 30 students from SPSC and more than 60 students from Seymour attended the social.

The evening was filled with a variety of musical performances by both SPSC and Seymour students. Axel Ling and Tony Y. Li captivated the audience with their songs, while the Seymour girls impressed with both vocal performances and a Guzheng (Chinese zither) recital. The high-quality performances from both schools added a vibrant and festive atmosphere to the event.

In addition to enjoying the performances, students also indulged in delicious food, sampled traditional mooncakes, and participated in games like quizzes and charades. The social provided an excellent opportunity for students from both schools to strengthen friendships and enhance their social skills.

Special thanks go to the teachers from both schools for their hard work and dedication: Ms Wei and Ms You from Seymour, and Ms Qiu from SPSC, who organised the event; Ms Huang and Rev Julia for their supervision on the day; and Mr Angus and Mr Lamont for organising the shuttle bus for the boarders.
