Saturday 4 May
You and your family are invited to participate in our upcoming Community Day; a cherished tradition that embodies the spirit of camaraderie and unity within our School community.
This special event will be held on Saturday 4 May, from 8.00am to 2.00pm (the first Saturday of Term 2). Please note Community Day is a compulsory event for all students from Years 7 to 12.
Community Day Highlights:
Winter House Games: Students will engage in a variety of sports within their House groups, showcasing their skills, organisation, teamwork, and House pride. All students will be allocated to a team or teams. Sports include Basketball, Football, Table Tennis, Touch Rugby and Soccer. Parents are encouraged to support their sons from the sidelines.
Community Lunch: Join us for a communal lunch where families, students, and staff can enjoy a meal together, fostering connections within our community. A variety of lunch options will be available to purchase from food trucks from 11.00am to 1.30pm. Additionally, a silent auction supporting the work of our SPSC Service Learning respite programs will be set up on the Old School House Terrace.
House Community Engagement: This is a fantastic opportunity for parents to watch their sons compete, meet school staff, and connect with other families in a relaxed and inclusive environment. Each House will have a designated marquee and House area around Main Oval where families can check-in upon arrival to collect their name tag and where each House will gather for dessert (supplied) and brief formalities from 1.30pm.
Dress Code and Items to Bring: We encourage families to come dressed comfortably and in colours to support their House. Please consider bringing fold-up chairs to ensure a comfortable experience for your family throughout the day. Bar facilities will be provided, but please note that bringing alcohol onto the School campus is strictly prohibited.
