On Wednesday 20 February we held our traditional Academic Muster, in which we celebrated some of the impressive academic achievements of the 2018 St Peter’s College cohort.
The Muster also coincided with the publication of our latest Achieve Brochure, which offers the community an insight into the academic program of which we are so proud.
Nine students joined the official party on stage, all of whom received more than 99 in their ATAR. It provided a great opportunity to speak about the importance of celebrating effort and growth alongside achievement, and touch upon the changing face of learning; the path to academic success is more accessible than we think. Each student was then introduced one-by-one to Mr Ben Hanisch to receive a formal memento of their significant achievement.
A special ovation was saved for the joint winners of the Robley Award, David Quan and Longhen Li, and for the recipient of the Young Exhibition for the Dux of the School, Domenico Perrotta. Domenico then addressed the boys, touching on the important role the Saints community has to play in helping individuals achieve such profound success. His themes of collaboration and humility were well-received by all.
Please take some time to review the combined SACE and IB academic results for 2018, and read about some of our exceptional individual achievements. Download the Achieve Brochure here. To find out what our 10 top achievers for 2018 will be doing in 2019, please read on.
