I am pleased to announce that Mr David Nolan will join St Peter’s College as Deputy Headmaster/Head of Senior School from Monday 11 September. Mr Nolan is currently Deputy Principal – Learning and Teaching at Cabra Dominican College, a Years 7 to 12 school of 1200 students in Adelaide. Prior to this role Mr Nolan was Head of Middle School at Caulfield Grammar School Melbourne, an ELC to Year 12 multi campus boarding school for more than 3500 students.

A holistic educator, Mr Nolan impressed the selection panel through his knowledge and depth of experience across curriculum, wellbeing, pastoral care and operations. Mr Nolan holds teacher development and student engagement and connection as central to the success of education. In particular, Mr Nolan’s alignment to the vision and mission of St Peter’s College and our values of truth, respect and service saw him secure the role in a very competitive field.

I take this opportunity to thank all staff involved in carrying extra responsibilities during the interregnum; in particular, Acting Deputy Headmaster, Mr Nick Carter and Acting Head of Senior School, Mr Barnaby Eaton. It has been a wonderful team effort across the School to maintain and advance operations post COVID and implement a new Enterprise Award.

We look forward to welcoming Mr Nolan and his family to our School community in mid September. Opportunities to engage with Mr Nolan following his arrival, will be communicated in due course.
