On Sunday 28 April the Elder Conservatorium and the University of Adelaide hosted the inaugural Adelaide Bass Day, bringing together performers teachers, students and exhibitors from all over Australia.
Four of our Junior School students attended the event, hosted in Elder Hall and listened to solo recitals, student masterclasses and jazz bass workshops, as well as being involved in the mass bass ensemble (comprised of 40 double bassists!) Many thanks to Ms Gamble for initiating our inclusion in this event.
