Emerging Artist, First Nations Artist, Under 25 

At the end of last year Jacob Foster (Yr 12 S&A) entered the Adelaide Parklands Association Art competition. Jacob was proudly and deservingly nominated as a finalist for his exceptional piece and was invited to the VIP open night at the Adelaide Festival Centre last Friday. Jacob’s piece tells a special story – the outside circles represent the men and women gathering kangaroo and honey ants for the family, the inside circle is the place they gather and share the food and have a feast, the white outline represents the journeys they took to get the kangaroo and honey ants. We are extremely proud of Jacob; it is an amazing achievement. Congratulations Jacob!
