After 23 rewarding years at St Peter’s College it is time to say goodbye. My most sincere and heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the numerous boys, families and staff with whom I have had the pleasure of working with during my time at Saints. It has been a privilege to welcome boys and their families to the School community, to have the opportunity to teach and learn with children during their early years and to partner with families. I have continued to draw upon an African proverb, “It takes a village to raise a child”, believing in the value of parent partnerships in the learning and care of children, children’s right to a voice and place in the community and the responsibility communities have to ensure young children have the best childhood possible. I am very grateful for the opportunity to have been a member of and contributed to the St Peter’s College community. Observing the growth and development of students and sharing in their achievements as they have progressed through and beyond the School has been one of the many highlights of my time here.

Wishing you all life’s richest blessings.
