In Term 2, Farrell House launched a heartfelt fundraising initiative to provide personalised teddy bears for children in need during Christmas. The aim is to bring comfort and joy to those who need it most. By Term 4, the Farrell House mentors had each decorated two special star bears, which were then donated to AnglicareSA to help brighten the holidays for vulnerable children. Farrell House takes immense pride in this meaningful project and is committed to making it a lasting tradition for years.
The AnglicareSA Star Bear program runs free weekend camps for grieving children and young people who have lost a parent, sibling or other significant person. The bears are given to the children who attend.
