As we navigate the final term of the year, it’s a time to reflect on the growth that has taken place and to recognise that, while the finish line is in sight, there is still more to be done.
This week we celebrated the Class of 2025. After 13 years of schooling, they can look back on all they have achieved and begin to focus on life beyond school. It marks a pivotal transition in their lives: for some, the path ahead is clear; for others, it is still taking shape. Feeling uncertain about what comes next is entirely normal, and we take confidence in knowing that the skills and knowledge our graduates have developed will equip them well for whatever lies ahead. Over the past fortnight, it has been wonderful to see the genuine gratitude our boys have shown towards their teachers.
At our Valedictory Muster, School Vice-Captain Tiger Liu spoke about the importance of staying curious. His words carried depth and resonance, not only for the graduating Class of 2025 but for our entire community. Tiger reminded us that curiosity can move us beyond judgement and towards understanding. When we approach others with curiosity, we open conversations, and through those conversations we form the connections that enrich our lives and expand our perspectives.
As we celebrate the Class of 2025 and all they have achieved, let us continue to strengthen a community grounded in truth, respect and service – one that values curiosity, seeks understanding, and continues to grow together as an exceptional community of learning.
