05 December 2025
As we approach the end of 2025, there is so much for us to be thankful for as a school community. Term 4 offered many opportunities to pause, reflect and express gratitude for the incredible environment in which we live, learn and work.
To our families
Thank you for partnering with us in the education of the hearts and minds of the boys entrusted to our care. Parenting in 2025 is not without its challenges, and we know those challenges are reflected in schools as well. Your ongoing support of our staff, who work tirelessly to nurture and guide every boy, is deeply appreciated.
I would also like to acknowledge the Senior School Friends of Saints, a dedicated group of parent volunteers who create opportunities for connection and celebration. This year marks the conclusion of Mrs Connie Hill’s leadership of this important team, and we thank her sincerely for her outstanding contribution to making our Senior School an even better place. It is a privilege to work alongside parents who are committed to building strong connections and fostering positive, productive partnerships.
To Our Students
Thank you for the energy and enthusiasm you bring to our school every day, from early mornings to late evenings. You are the heartbeat of our community and our world is richer because of you. As the year draws to a close, I encourage you to take time to reflect and dream about what you hope to achieve in 2026.
I also remind you of the challenge set by School Vice Captain Tiger earlier this year: to remain curious in your interactions with one another, rather than rushing to judgment. Curiosity builds understanding, and understanding strengthens community.
A special thank you to Aadi and Tiger for their exceptional leadership throughout 2025. They have led with distinction and have embodied our values of truth, respect and service in all aspects of school life.
To Our Staff
Finally, thank you for your unwavering commitment to supporting every young person in our care. Your dedication, professionalism and passion for the education and wellbeing of our students are at the heart of everything we do as a school community.
Every lesson taught, every conversation held and every extra effort made, helps shape not only the minds but also the character of the young people we serve. Working in a school is both an art and a calling and we are privileged to have such passionate educators and operational staff who inspire curiosity, build resilience and model the values we hold dear.
We also take this opportunity to farewell several colleagues who will be pursuing new opportunities in 2026. We thank Karen Petterson, Christine Iadanza, Jane Walch, Madeline Bray, Sarah Giles and Jamie Frost for their service to St Peter’s College. Each has made a valued contribution, and we wish them every success as they embark on the next chapter of their professional journey.
Thank you to all staff for your tireless work, creativity and care. You make a profound difference every single day, and our school is stronger because of you.
As we look ahead to 2026, may we continue to work together to nurture a community that is connected, compassionate, and courageous one that lives out our values of truth, respect, and service and continues to grow as an exceptional community of learning.
May the holiday break bring you rest and renewal, and may you and your families enjoy a safe, joyful and holy Christmas.
