Over the last two weeks our Outdoor Education team have been working hard in preparing the final stages for all camps and the Year 10 Journey. These camps are critical in developing a student’s confidence and are a significant milestone in the career of a Saints student. I am impressed by the way the team have rallied together and adapted plans in line with government restrictions, all for the safe experience and engagement of our students.
The ovals and courts have been well used over the last two weeks, with sport up and running, both midweek and on Saturdays. The quality of training and development from our coaches and staff has been outstanding and the attitude of our students has been a credit to their commitment.
There is incentive, of course, as schools and associations map out trials and competitions ahead. All students are encouraged to take advantage of the co-curricular opportunities available to them after School, and support is always available via their Mentor to establish a full and enriching program of activities.
