Our garden plots are flourishing thanks to the hard work of  a small group of regular gardeners, Jason Hall, part of our Maintenance Team, and our wonderful Grounds Team. The crops that the boys planted at the end of last year have had regular water and we have been able to harvest out first crops of potatoes, fresh herbs, chillies, capsicum, bok choy, spinach and tomatoes. With the help of Tim Prince and Oliver Cobain, our School Captain and Vice Captain, we removed an old passionfruit plant and replaced it with a new lime tree and lemon tree.

Come and join us at Gardening Club each Wednesday and Friday morning at 8.00am. Parents are welcome, and boys of all ages from Reception to Year 6. No need to sign up, just come when you can. We sell our produce at our Pop-up Produce stall in the Junior School foyer. As we have small amounts of vegetable ready we will display them here, and ask for a gold coin donation.

All the proceeds  go to help Anglicare Elizabeth Mission to provide a hot meal each day for families in need.

Come and join us at Gardening Club. It’s great fun, get to know other boys and families, and find out about planting, propagating and harvesting.
