During to the annual Languages Soccer Cup, the German Society held a German cake stall to help foster an understanding and appreciation of the German culture by providing students a taste of the region.
Traditional sugar coated berliners and slices of Sachertorte (an Austrian chocolate cream cake) were sold. Both cakes proved very popular, however, the berliners sold out first!
I would like to thank Alex Hofmann (Year 11), Alex Roe (Year 11), Harry Tennant (Year 1), Charles Quigley-Smith (Year 9), Henry Hawker (Year 9) and Max Schuller (Year 12) for their assistance on the day.
