We were delighted to welcome grandparents and special friends into the Junior School during Week 6. The beauty of these occasions reaches beyond the time that is spent in classrooms, touring the school, and sharing morning tea. They create memories to refer to the next time the boys see their grandparent or special friend.

In a world where digital connection has, for some, undermined human connection, is excellent that our boys and their visitors, whether grandparent, special friend or relative, can connect on the memory of plentiful cookies. Grandparents will be able to ask their grandsons about the teachers and friends they met, the book that they were reading, strengthening a very special relationship based on understanding of where the boys spend so much of their time.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make Grandparents and Special Friends’ Week such a special part of the term.
