04 April 2025
On Thursday 3 April, our School community came together for the HAS Foundation Sponsored Swim, a two-hour endurance event supporting children with life-limiting illnesses.
17 boys from the Open Water Polo squad took part, swimming an incredible total of over 70,000 metres. A special mention goes to our top three swimmers: Dan (Year 12) who completed an outstanding 330 lengths, followed by Harvey (Year 10) and John (Year 11) each with 230 lengths. Their determination and commitment were truly inspiring.
Thanks to their efforts and the generosity of our sponsors, the event raised over $5000 for the HAS Foundation.
This achievement highlights the power of teamwork, resilience and community spirit. We are incredibly proud of our swimmers and grateful to everyone who contributed. If you would still like to support this cause, donations remain open via : https://gofund.me/04df4d65
Thank you to Archie Braithwaite, Nicky Lockie, Ms Fleming and Ms Shaw, for their invaluable support in organising the event and ensuring its success, and to Oakley and Ella Stratton in being our cheering team and supplying treats post swim.
Well done to all involved!
