Hawkes House is making a significant impact by supporting Ronald McDonald House (RMH) who help families who are facing the challenges of serious childhood illness. Recently, our community came together to collect a variety of essential items from the RMH wish list, including baked beans, nappies, deodorant and snacks. These contributions will help provide comfort and care to children and their families during a difficult time when they must be away from home.

Since 1981, Ronald McDonald Houses have provided a “home away from home” for families with seriously ill children. Located just steps from major women’s and children’s hospitals across Australia, these Houses offer a warm and inviting place for parents, guardians, carers, and siblings to stay while their child receives treatment.

We are incredibly proud of our boys and immensely grateful to the families who helped us gather so many much-needed items. A special thanks goes to Year 11 students Anirvan Iyen, Krishen Nair, Lochie Siow, and Damon Tatarelli for spearheading this initiative and embodying the true spirit of service. At SPSC, we are living out our core values of truth, respect, and service by extending our hands to those in need.
