Over the last two years Howard House have partnered with Ronald McDonald House Charities in a mentor based service project where students have planned, fundraised and cooked meals for families staying at Ronald McDonald House in North Adelaide. Each mentor group was tasked with fundraising money to purchase their ingredients for their meal which they would cook and serve at Ronald McDonald House.
The Cox and Spiby Mentor Group ran a sausage sizzle in Week 4 to raise their funds, which was proudly supported by Norwood Foodland who generously donated most of their supplies. In Term 1 the Jehle and Skujins Mentor ran a bacon and egg roll fundraiser to raise their funds.
Five students from each mentor group attended Ronald McDonald House with their mentor and Head of House to cook their meals during Term 1 and 2.
