The St Peter’s College Foundation exists to support projects and opportunities that enrich the educational experience of students, now and for generations to come. Through the generosity of our community, the Foundation helps strengthen the programs, places and facilities that shape life at St Peter’s College.
In 2024, the Foundation’s Annual Appeal focused on SPSC’s Outdoor Education Facility at Finniss, supporting important upgrades to help ensure this much-loved site continues to serve students well. Recent improvements include a new dock and launching area, stabilised banks, renovated ablution facilities, a water safety fence and upgraded kitchen and dining areas.
These enhancements were on display at Saturday’s Year 3 Family Day at Finniss, which provided a wonderful opportunity for students and families to spend time at the site ahead of the Year 3 camp in Term 3. For many students, this camp will be their first time away from home, and opportunities like this help build familiarity, confidence, connection and excitement.
Families also enjoyed an ice cream and coffee van, provided by the Foundation as a gesture of thanks for the community’s ongoing support and as a way to celebrate the shared contribution that continues to enhance this special place.
