In Week 4 the Miller Library and hundreds of libraries across the world joined with the American Library Association, Nordic Game Day, the Australian Library and Information Association, and L’Associazione Italiana Biblioteche in celebrating the educational, recreational, and social value of video, board and card games for International Games Week 2019.

Every lunch time the boys have enjoyed learning new card games with their peers, some of which were kindly donated by Let’s Play Games in celebration of International Games Week. The Sega Mega-Drive, Super Nintendo and PlayStation 2 consoles were extremely popular, giving the boys an opportunity to experience the origins of gaming as they know it today.

The Library now has a large collection of card and board games for students to use at lunchtime and after school.
