The beginning of the school year has been an exciting time for our international students! In Week 1, we welcomed all our new international students with an Orientation Day, helping them settle into life at St Peter’s College. It was a fantastic opportunity for them to get to know the School, meet key staff members, and connect with fellow students from Years 7 to 12.
During the orientation, students had the chance to meet our Vice Captain, Tiger Liu, who shared his experiences as both an international student and a boarder. He provided great insights and valuable tips on navigating school life, socially and academically, helping new students feel more confident as they begin their journey at St Peter’s College.
To continue fostering a sense of belonging, we hosted a Welcome Lunch in Week 4 for all international students. This wonderful event brought students together across different year levels, creating a supportive and friendly community. During the lunch, students also participated in a survey, sharing their interests and suggesting activities they would like to take part in throughout the year. Their input will help shape future events and programs to ensure a meaningful and engaging experience for everyone.
We look forward to more opportunities throughout the year to support and celebrate our international students!
