The Jianzi (毽子) competition was again run this year during Athletics Day to help keep our school grounds free of cans/bottles. On the day, many students brought recyclable bottles and cans, and had a lot of fun kicking the Jianzi. The total number of cans/bottles were 411. All the money will be donated to support French service initiative to help an impoverished orphanage in Vung Tau, Vietnam.
Many thanks to all Chinese Society committee members, especially to George Young (Year 12), Will Fitzgerald (Year 9), Eton Williams (Year 10) and Ms Wang for great support on the day. Also, many thanks to the maintenance staff for helping setup and storing the cans/bottles.
