The Junior School recently celebrated Junior Primary Sports Day on a beautiful spring morning on Palm House Oval. The emphasis of Junior Primary Sports Day is placed on participation, trying your best, displaying good sportsmanship and having fun.

Prep to Year 2 students had been working hard in their PE lessons and in SEA activities to learn new skills to develop critical fundamental movement skills that they were able to showcase on this big day.

Students took part in activities such as sprinting, relay running, obstacle course, distance and accuracy throwing as well as high jumping. It was obvious what a enjoyable morning it was for all participants, teachers and parents. In fact one of the crowd favourites was the tug of war which inspired the participation of many parents.
