On Wednesday 17 June, our Year 5 and Year 6 Rock Bands travelled to Nazareth school to compete in the annual Battle of the Bands. The boys were up against some tough competition but all played remarkably well and we are proud to announce the following results:
Year 5 Rock Band – placed 2nd
Year 6 Rock Band – placed 3rd
Peter Zhang (drums) won Outstanding Musician award for the event given by the adjudicators. The boys represented the school well and we were thrilled with their performances, behaviour and the way in which they supported and cheered for other bands as well as each other.
