Students in Year 6 were invited to nominate to be a Junior School Library Leader or Library Committee Member earlier this term. The application process involved writing about how your character strengths would influence your leadership and collaboration style. The number and caliber of the nominations was incredible this year with 25 boys nominating to be a Library Leader or part of the committee.
After a rigorous selection process, our Library Leaders for 2020 were announced at our Junior School Assembly last week. Congratulations to Nicholas Latella, Louis von Doussa and Max Arkadianos for being selected as the Junior School Library Leaders. Their role, along with the rest of the committee, includes organising library events, supporting our Book Week activities as well as promoting the reading culture in the Junior School by working alongside students with their book selections.
We are looking forward to working with Nicholas, Louis and Max, and the rest of the committee, to further reinforce the reading culture at St Peter’s College.
