In the Junior School Library we have enjoyed welcoming boys and families into our amazing library space. It has been wonderful to see our new boys express their excitement as they explore the library and our vast collection of books. The library is open every day from 8:15am until 3:45pm. Many families take the opportunity to use the library after school to complete homework tasks.
Palm House boys are encouraged to visit the library on a daily basis and we provide a simple stamp and sticker collecting system to help motivate and track their borrowing habits.
In Week 3 we will launch the Premier’s Reading Challenge whereby every Junior School boy participates. The challenge is to read at least 12 books before September, many boys are able to exceed this limit.
We look forward to seeing you in the library.
